September 11th. Orion's due date. He is coming and when he does, I am loading him up with my games, bc I have them on an external drive which is what I should have done when I had Papaya, but Willie Jess just started recognizing my drive recently... so... argh?

LOL... J forgot the chicken last night and did veggie chili instead, tonight she is doing the chicken. Finally. EDIT: It was sooo good!!!

AND I want to take a walk out sometime and take some pictures of this one tree... it's going golden with fall foliage. Utterly beautiful, and red too, I think...?

Tonight Bees, Julz and I went out to Tim Hortons for supper. I had the bbq chicken bowl with brown rice, veggies like cukes and tomatoes, and bbqed chicken pieces.... SO good!! And several, of their new twisties. Garlic twists I believe? Again... oh so yummy!! And a blackberry-yuzu drink for something cool to have..fa as it is hotter than Satan's arse here atm.

Tomorrow is Labor Day. Summer is officially (for the kids and working ppl) over. It won't be official til later but.... we gain an hour of sleep with DST leaving for the winter! Ha!! (Well.. maybe not for SK but here yupp.) Time to revel in the pumpkin spice, warm hot cocoa, and snow season... (I'm a winter lover... sue me!) I like to just stay in and watch the snow fly. :) It's calming... I might record some of it this winter. It's supposed to be really cold though.

Anyways, I'm going to sign off and relax in bed with my iPad and my 3DS.

In gaming news, btw... I'm tackling Pokemon Platinum and Pokemon White. And ftr you can win with Snivy in the first gym against Chili. All you need is a Lillipup... evolve it into Herdier and make it learn bite, then just trash the living shit out of Mr. I-Love-Donuts-Mr.-Hothead.

Although, Chili is my favorite Striaton gym leader. :D Cress is ok, but I'm not big on water types, and Cilan is a big dork and reminds me of Tin-Tin... for some odd reason?

I haven't yet started Platinum, but maybe tonight? I wanna start with Chimchar.. cos I just love him... but then again, I'm always looking for a challenge so maybe Turtwig?? I chose Piplup the first time back in the day when I first bought Diamond. So, I have tried each line, and while Turtwig isn't my absolute fave, I am partial to the grass type. :) Grass, fire, ghost, dark and fairy. That's me. :D

So.. that's what I am doing... :)

Slept like the dead today...

I don't usually sleep in that much but I did today. I must have been wiped beyond wiped. I went to Amir's yesterday and traded in my iPhone for an older iPad mini bc I don't need it.. I figured that I could use my Pixel to do my sugars with and it works fine. :)

I am going to get Amir over here to buy my old Samsung tablet bc again, I have my Amazon fire that I am happy with. My iPad maybe old but still works. :D

And Orion is coming too. On the 11th. I just hope WW3 don't start anytime soon. (Russia/China/N. Korea might try something that day maybe? idk)

Anyways, I'm doing maintenance on Willie Jess, Julie's computer. Virus scan, defrag, the whole schlmiel. Gotta keep WJ in good condition, y'know!

My baby sister Bees needs to get up, she slept in as well. I have a ten spot for her to look after for me as I don't have a wallet. :) (Although I could put it in my purse! I'm weird like that, won't carry a wallet but will a purse.... *smh*)

What are y'all up to today? I am just gonna relax today... not do much of anything, maybe play the Sims 3??

Everything is inflated these days, stops to get food, gas (not that this matters to me cos I don't drive) and egos.

My new computer, a Gateway from eBay (new to me!!) called Orion arrives. Luckily I can easily update it as it has 8.1 on it. Which is no biggie. :) He is a 15 incher so that is perfect. Julz won't be able to topple this guy which is what happened to poor Papaya. :o Papaya was a 17 or 18 incher. She was massive. But Orion is perf. He is a Gateway NE51B05h. Does anyone know if the keyboard is backlit bc Papaya's was and I quite enjoyed it. It came in v. handy.

Also, does anyone know if the Toronto Blue Jays are still in? I know my Yanks are. :) They are going to take the Series. Sorry Susan, not sorry!! :D

What is everyone's plans for this Labor Day?? Tomorrow I'm going to Newmarket Fish & Chips for dinner along with a trip to Giant Tiger... and Monday I'm going with my girls out again to Tim's and having supper there. :)

All in all, a great weekend. Saturday I reckon is maintenance on Julz's Vaio (WillieJess!) and Sunday is just Sunday. Oh! And tomorrow's my bath... so that is sehr gut. :)

No. I'm not dead... at least not yet. Don't rush me. (LOL.. I'm rushing myself if anything.) So, I have done a lot of thinking and while the bullshit still stinks up the air, I am just going to let it slide. I'm on a new drug (Fermez-la to those sniggering in the back :P) I am on Invega, and my mind is calmer...

Right now as I speak, I am still living where I am now. I have more clarity. Which is good non?

As for gaming, I need to get my hands on a Switch and fast. While the 3DS is hunky dory, it's not a Switch. But, then again, I could probably hunt down a Steam Deck, but I don't play Steam games unless you can get the Sims on there *looks at Remy* Maybe I should get a Vita, hack the shit out of it, and have that? Do people even play with Vitas anymore? I guess alongside the 3DS, they've gone the way of the Flintstones non?? But I am not willing to trade in, bc I love Tomodachi Life, many of the older Pokemon games (like Platinum which I am trying to get into again) and the Style Savvy games too. Gotta love fashion games. (Such a weird girly tomboy demi-girl sort eh??)

COVID-19 has claimed a life of a sister of a loved one. Sad really. The deceased was buried today but I wonder, if it is better to cremate a COVID victim?? To eradicate the disease entirely through fire??? *looks at Dwight for some reason lol*

Implode. My old Vaio which I have bc Julie trashed Papaya by accident, threw out the ol' 0xc0000034 error which basically means that until I got a usb recovery thing, which I did c/o a very gracious Jotee, I was fucked.

I am so glad to be back with MS Windows, *breathes sigh of relief* But if I had things my way, I'd have a Mac. I am truly a Mac girl. :D

Tuesday we get our room sprayed for bedbugs yet again. So, I am not going to forget and do Papaya's maintenance on Sunday. Gotta do it either tomorrow or Saturday, bc I am not going to be online much from Sunday to Tuesday. I have to pack up Papaya and accoutrements, and then, on Tuesday at the Fresh Tea Shop I can pick up where I left off... I left my 3DS and a 2DS I picked up free at some tech place, A will fix my 3DS (I have a flame red one ... I gave my XL to my sister Julie, bc her eyes can't process the tiny screens of the older 3DS?) and attempt to fix the 2ds, but I don't think so bc it is so fucked up, but he might... but he is def fixing my 3DS. He isn't charging much for it... about $40? Which is super.

In the meantime I am borrowing Julie's XL. So.. in point form, this is what is happening...

Friday is a free day. Nothing but my bath.
Saturday as I said B4 MUST BE THE DAY I DO PAPAYA'S MAINTENANCE.
Sunday I reckon will be free, just random last minute cleaning... and then, some packing...
MONDAY: PACKING DAY.
Tuesday? Go time!!!!

And yes, my OCD is just thrilled to bits about this.

Gaming--wise, I am playing Style Savvy on the 3DS, and Pokemon Scarlet on the Switch. I am still fucking baffled by the odd way Gamefreak has decided to play these games. Someone on Discord said and I quote 'make and eat sandwiches'. WTF??? I know Arven is obsessed with such, but there is no way in hell am I doing the titans first. I will probably go for either Nemona's championship thingy or Cassiopeia's Team Starfall thing. :) Thus, my reasons for starting over and over... oy vey.

Style Savvy has to be my absolute fave, Also I need to d/l FR/LG & R/S/E... I'm going to be so flipping busy on Tuesday??? I have to get all the games (minus the Sonic games Julz has... I've not played Sonic since the mid 90's!) So... that will be fun. I just hope my girls won't get bored. :(

Agh... too busy for my liking.. but such is life non?

I am at home now but I was out most of the afternoon into the evening. It was a good time, we had smoothies and dinner out. It was a great time. :)

I am so tired bc I did a lot of walking. And wasted nearly half the afternoon trying to fix my red 3
3DS, bc the camera won't work, and I'm suspecting it's the ribbon that is loose. So... I have to just wait for tomorrow to take it into A's shop. We are walking down. I have a non responding 2DS as well... but if that works by tomorrow... I might keep that. I got it from this tech dude who was like "Oh, it's defective... for parts." Well, I need the cameras!! Can you not transfer the 2DS cams to a 3DS???? Lawd.

I have to pee, but that can wait til Dave leaves. I might just give the 2DS to A and tell him to trash it or sell it or do the wild fandango on it. Heh. If the 3DS problem is as simple as fixing the dang ribbon, then yippee hurrah!! I want to see if he can fix the 2DS also....

Ordered some necessities like body wash and toothpaste, an electric toothbrush, and face cloths for the house bc someONE keeps taking them. I have enough of this crap. :( If they take these, then stick a fork in me, I'm done.

I did order a fun thing too. Another cartridge, this time with a lot more games on it. Anyways... Bees wants to go out to dinner sometime. I started playing Pokémon Fire Red, I redownloaded them, bc I like the ones they have on Reddit? Here and Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald here. I didn't choose Bulbasaur for once. Maybe on Leaf Green? But I went with Charmander. And I intend to get a Pikachu to totally decimate Gary's team. :D Gary has a serious attitude problem in these games... seriously annoying, he is so smug, you could just strangle him!!! Or he was a Snivy in another life... that being said, Snivy is my absolute favorite as y'all know...

Otherwise, the road to fall has slowly begun, with August looming... the 25th marks the date Bees and I first met at Seneca College. The course we took doesn't exist anymore. They cancelled the College Vocational Program after 4 years... not enough interest I reckon??? I looked up the date August 25th 1997, and it was a Monday which makes perfect sense. I was so lost that day... I was literally lost. I needed help getting to the auditorium where Frosh Week was starting... jeez, it was really busy!!! But I found it, sat down behind these 3 girls. Lee-Anne Wachtel (now Alter) and Bees whose real name is Colleen Feeney, and Lee-Anne Arrobas. In our tight knit group there were later Jennifer Ramson, and Trish Varughese. But then, it was just those three. They were talking about this musical group...

Bees was chatting with the two Lee-Annes about her favorite member which was Brian Littrell. So, I being the social butterfly that I am, turned around and introduced myself to Bees and the two Lee-Annes and said that I had loved Nick Carter since they debuted in '93... I always go for the baby of the group. Same with NKOTB. Loooooooooooooooooooooove Joey McIntyre lol!!!!!!

So, in essence, I got the ball rolling on my relationship with my forever bestie. :) I was going to go for another girl but I couldn't find her... and I had my second crush ever then too. On a guy named Liam Dolan. Gosh he was FINE!!! He kind of looked like Stephen Gately of Boyzone in the 90's.

Yeah. He was fine alright... oy, he held my heart in his hands... but another girl broke his heart and I guess he was hurt .... I never did forgive her but oddly enough I have her on FB. Maybe time does heal all...?

I have this theory that he passed away bc Katherine Hernaez (or Kat) the girl who stole my Liam away said that he was very sick... he had a bad heart... and that was like 5 years ago.... so... I am bereft. I will always remember his cute smile, warm heart and the way he made my own heart thud madly.

Ah.. memories... anyways... tomorrow is the last day we have for cleanup... then Monday is GO Day. Oy... where do you think we ought to go??? Both places are great and have free WiFi... granted that TFTS has a password (their phone #) where as Timmy's don't.

Today I went to Scotiabank to take out some cash, bc last night, I tried many things, and I almost lost hope... but Mom being the super mother she is, helped me with that... She is the absolute best.

I am sitting here at the Fresh Tea Shop, just being with my two sisters, Julie and Bees... the place is practically empty... usually, they are packed with teenagers... and on a Friday as well? I guess that it's getting closer to the beginning of school? IDK... tbh.

We get sprayed again for bedbugs on Monday. This time they had better get them all, bc the little fuckers travelled up to Phyllis and Carole's room!! Phyllis and Carole got bit as did Julz. I don't feel them bite me bc when I sleep, I'm dead to the world. I don't feel anything... but the bites show up though....

There is a mad exodus from OpenDiary to Prosebox... tbh I don't know why this is? Same with Dreamwidth but with Tumblr methinks?? IDK.

I like this journal and GNJ. GNJ isn't free but it is very affordable. Like 4 or 5 bucks a month? El Cheapo as some would say... but you get these books like PB, but they are multimedia friendly instead of straight text and html. Which is great... so it's like OD but you cannot input YT straight like OD and PB.

I am soooo tired. I think when I get home, I might just pack clothes and stuff into bags and set them aside, and after that, just rest until med time.

Not much to report, except today Mom and I had a falling out but everything is cool... I hope!! Eh... shit happens. So, anyways, tomorrow I fast, I can eat oatmeal (no dairy though) and that's about it really, no water... I can't take my pills... or I can have a sip of water. Liz told me to wear a dress that is not form fitting so that the drs and nurses can get at my legs and feet. So, I will wear a floaty dress... I have several of those available to me. And clean undies... of course right???

I can tell you with the utmost confidence that a) I'm not afraid and b) even so, I ain't looking forward to this. I want to get this done and ... well, not pass out from hunger. I just hope my bg is just a little high bc with no food and just insulin?? That spells D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R. On Thursday Mom is doing a heavy duty clean of the house, so Bees and I are off to the Fresh Tea Shop, I think that Julie will stay home and help out.... I'm not much for cleaning. I would love to stay and help, but I'd probably be a hindrance to them. Sooo... Bees and I will paint the town red. :) I wonder where ppl got that idiom? Paint the town red?? I'll google it. You can find a whack of knowledge from a simple google search.... oy.

This weekend, I believe is Lil Sis's. But that's ok, poor Tay had no beauty rest all weekend. :( Lil Sis is more forward. She tell the people responsible to not try that with her. Tay is young (19) so she is a bit more meek?

I've been hemming and hawing and I still don't know whether to get TikTok... bc if I want to do a vlog, which I do, I can use Insta. Plus TikTok has so much garbage on it these days? Nah.

I go in for my vein x-ray tomorrow, or is it today?? I'm not sure. I need to find out. Dr. M thinks it's something to do with my circulation system? (the puffy feet and legs) I just think it's edema but... then again, could be something else? I am confident about the outcome.

But other than that? My week is free and clear. :) I do have my bath on Friday, and tomorrow if Liz wants to stay and wait.... which idk if she will. She might. Here is to hoping eh?

I'm trying to crack my neck bc it is stiff. :(

I got my laundry out.. if I don't go today for my leg thing, I will watch Doctor Sleep. BTW, that is Danny Lloyd of the Shining up there... *points to header*

Today was a most excellent day. :) I have a feeling, tomorrow will be much the same. :) Tay-Tay comes tomorrow! She is our newest weekender, besides Lil Sis (Jessie).

Well.. g2g. Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer awaits. I am *still* blindly going thru Violet and Scarlet... there is no way in hell, that I'm doing the Titans first. I DID technically beat one in a previous game file... but holy hell... Arven wasn't kidding when he said the bastards were tough... dang. And that Cassiopeia person? I can def go after Team Star, as well as the gyms. There is so much stimuli in those two games, my head spins!!
